These are from the Facebook Friendship Anniversary video that features you and a friend or your friends and appears in you feed. Here are some of the frames that made the cut (there were a lot that didn’t, but that’s how it works!). I had no idea that the final product would be so prominent or turn out as cool as it did! I shouldn’t be surprised, Director Aaron Duffy, who I’ve been lucky to work with a few times, has a made really exceptional music videos and commercials. Enjoy the storyboards and hopefully you and one of your besties turns up in your feed!

Moved to HAWAII! 8:04 PM
Sorry for the radio silence! Moving is time consuming and frustrating- Moving from Brooklyn to Hilo, Hawaii was that times a gazillion. My studio stuff is still somewhere floating in the Pacific on it’s way here. Hawaii as you can imagine is pretty sweet- I’m definitely going to have find my Oregon country boy roots and shake off the city slicker that I’ve been for the last 20 years!
I currently illustrating another book in the “Guts & Glory” line for Little Brown and that is going well! I’m also prepping “Kittens” #3! Along with some limited edition Kittens Prints- hope to have those for Short Run in Seattle this fall.
Above is Kika form the Kittens catching some waves while rocking out- normally she plays the base but when on a board she rocks a guitar! This will be one of 3 prints I’ll do of each of the Kittens in their new home!

Goodbye Providence and thanks for all the fish. 2:50 PM
As of yesterday I no longer live in the smallest state. Thank you Providence, you were fun and I met some great people and learned some cool things. I learned all about the state's founder- Roger Williams and how he inspired our American concept of religious freedom and "the Separation of Church and State"- and that there is no debate he meant exactly that (also found out that the puritans were jerks, driving in Massachusetts- no surprise there). For a good intro into Roger Williams check out this Smithsonian Article. I also found out that in the smallest state this qualifies as a waterfall (Yes I'm being an Oregon snob when it comes to waterfalls) . Big thank you to the Frog & Toad Store for selling my wares and introducing me to a Rhode Island specific- Stuffies.
Now I'm off to Montauk for a Month then I start my journey to move to the actual island state.

LINEWORKNW! 3:59 PM
Just some of cool things I'll be bringing this Sunday to the LineworkNW Festival!
I'm really excited to be participating in a festival in my home town! I've already seen a Timber game (they lost. Boo) gone hiking up Oneonta Gorge (Not freezing in May, if you need proof of global warming that is it) BBQ'd on the Sandy river! (Thanks Rocky!) It's been pretty sweet except my brother insists that we ride bikes everywhere. So my visit will be wrapping up with this Festival- It's free admission and chock full of amazing artists whom I'm lucky to exhibit with! So come by this Sunday and check out some cool comics and illustrations!
Linework NW will take place on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the Norse Hall in Portland, Oregon. Hours of operation are 1pm-8pm both days. Attendance is free and open to the public.

One Cephalopod Band 4:30 PM
This is a mock-up for my next screenprint- Octoband! I might also put this on a tote bag ot a t-shirt. It's been raining endlessly here in Providence... the next time I tell someone I'm from Oregon and the first thing they always go to is "Doesn't it rain there all of the time?" It does, but not like this I never owned an umbrella until I moved out east- Yes. it is making me cranky.

Deadbeat Art Placement 9:10 AM
Last fall the set designer from the Hulu TV series DeadBeat contacted me about using my silkscreen prints for decorating the set of a new character being introduced in season 3. That was all information I was given. New character, new set, my work would be perfect. I'm a fan of the show so I thought "sweet" and licensed a bunch of my prints.
If you don't know about the show- it's about a stoner who can see ghosts and he helps them resolve whatever issue they have left so they can move on. It's silly and funny and worth watching.
Yesterday- 4/20 season 3 debuted (yes the show is not subtle but that's also what makes it good). I was waiting to see which character would get my stuff as set decoration. The first new character they introduce is a girl- who is a necrophiliac. yep necrophilia girl. A lot of girls dig my stuff so I was a bit like "Oh No! does necrophilia girl have my stuff on her walls?" Well as I continued to watch the episode they introduce Kal Penn/Clyde! to the cast! But as I'm a sexist idiot and still thought my work was for a girl character- but by episode 3 I found out my work decorates Clyde's apartment!
So basically- My work is on Kumar's walls!

KITTENS #2 is getting inked! 12:22 PM
After struggling a bit with writer's block I finally came up with a decent ending for my second issue of "KITTENS"- trust me you haven't had writer's block until you're faced with writing bad jokes for a comic punk band comprised of foul tempered felines.
The second issue is in FULL SWING now and I'll be debuting it at the Linework Festival in Portland!

MoCCA Tomorrow! 1:23 PM
MoCCA is Tomorrow! I'll be debuting my new zine Giant Robot VS Monster! I've put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this book (OK, mainly tears, so many tears). I experimented with drawing and printing styles and discovered while a normal zine is pretty easy to bind, one with 11x17 poster in will make discover new expletives that get worse and angrier as you bind. So please! Come check it out this weekend!
It's only $5 bucks!
MoCCA’s new host venue, Metropolitan West, is located on West 46th Street

MoCCA Fest can now be seen on the horizon 1:03 PM
I'll be debuting my Giant Robot vs Monster Zine at this year's MoCCA Fest I'll be there with my studiomates and it should be sweet. Above are the images for the transparent overlay pages... YES. I did say transparency pages for the both the Monster and the robot! It will defy comprehension- a fold out 11x17 poster? transparent overlays? Monsters? Robots? I can't wait to finish this zine. Enjoy the gif below of transparency heaven

Fight! 5:29 PM
So as I was finishing this ink wash drawing I had a revelation- It's not often in life that we achieve our dream goals. Sometimes we get pretty close. I draw for a living which is pretty sweet but when I was 15 I thought I'd be living the high life drawing only monsters and comics. My tastes have changed since I was 15- I like superheroes and really like monsters but I've got other things that I that I like draw more.. ok, maybe not more than monsters. To the point- I don't think this is my best drawing, but I guarantee you, if you showed this to my 15 year old self he would clearly say I have satisfied all of my arty aspirations and can now glide on my skills. Which is pretty sweet to think about.

Giant Robot & Monster. BFF's Forever 4:19 PM
Okay, maybe not but these two would make such a cute couple when they're not trying to destroy each other and cause massive amounts of collateral damage. MoCCA festival is coming up and I'm so excited to debut this zine!

Creature Incubator 5:04 PM
All giant monsters start somewhere, usually in a radiated nuclear test site... except this poor guy. He was conceived, grown, and made very cranky in a lab. Another page from my monster vs. giant robot zine.
