I curated a show of awesome pin-up art at Shag, Brooklyn! It's been so crazy that I'm just now posting about it here! The opening went fantastic and the work that my friends and colleagues produced for this show was simply amazing. Happy New Year. No better way than to start with a monster drawing- Sometimes I think I could just sit around all day and draw monsters. But I think that falls under the category of too much of good thing just might ruin it. So for now, monster drawing is an indulgence of mine that I've yet to get tired of- this is my tribute to Pacific Rim- which I thought was great. Did this in my sketchbook using pen and ink with inkwash.

I did not see that coming. not one bit. I was slowly adjusting to being cold in November and out of no where- BAM. December. Ugh, that'll not do, mainly cause I have way too much stuff to do!

Bleeding Cool Comics Art Brooklyn! 9:21 AM

So I'm slowly tumbling back into consciousness after surviving Comic Arts Brooklyn- It was an awesome show. I sold more books and silkscreen prints in a one day show that I've sold at weekend long shows so kudos to Desert Island for making this show happen!

Yep, A Super Nasty Raccoon is up to no good! Just finished screen-printing this bad boy this morning and will the prints for sale this weekend at CAB and hopefully if I don't keel over from exhaustion- another brand new spanking poster too! see you there!

above is the photoshop mock-up I did pre-printing followed by the actual prints- red actually turned out warmer- go GO ROCKET RED!

I just finished scanning all of the inked pages from the first issue of the relaunch of my Zombie Cat series- appropriately on Halloween. I'll be producing a limited edition handmade early release of the book for Comic Arts Brooklyn- till then enjoy this freshly inked page!
